Ventilation - Why do I need ventilation?

There are two key reasons for ventilating your home effectively: With new technology, homes today are designed to be airtight, waterproof and more energy efficient than ever before. While this results in fewer drafts and lower heating and cooling bills, the Council of Standards Australia state that the airtight design does not allow for proper ventilation of harmful pollutants than can accumulate in a home.
